What qualities do you most admire in other people?
Self-awareness, humility, ambition and selflessness.
If you could tell a budding entrepreneur three bits of wisdom what would they be?
Work hard, be nice to people, and don’t sweat the small stuff.
What business sectors are you most interested in?
I try to think less in terms of sectors and more in terms of finding ‘no brainer’ value propositions, but those are most often found in markets that are extremely large with incumbents that are well-hated by most of their customers.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of the job you do?
I think the most direct route to building a huge company – no matter if it’s consumer, enterprise, SME, whatever – is to make something that people love because it makes their lives better. It’s cool to play a small role enabling that.
